PURPOSE/ACTION REQUESTED
Award quote and authorize execution of a contract with Interstate Power Systems Inc. for countywide generator preventative maintenance and service work for Dakota County Facilities Management.
SUMMARY
Facilities Management contracts for monthly and quarterly preventative maintenance inspection services on the County's 15 standby generators located throughout the county. These services also will include scheduled full service inspections, coolant replacement, load banks, and battery replacement when required.
Facilities Management prepared and released a Request for Quotes on December 11th, 2023, for countywide generator preventative maintenance services. Four vendors provided quotes. Submitted quotes were received as follows.

EXPLANATION OF FISCAL/FTE IMPACTS
Sufficient funds are included in the Adopted 2024 Facilities Management operating budget for generator maintenance services. It is anticipated that similar amounts will be included in subsequent years.
