WHEREAS, the Office of the County Manager periodically reviews and recommends revisions to policies in order to ensure policies reflect organizational philosophy, legal and professional requirements, and operations guidelines; and
WHEREAS, staff reviewed Policy 1002 Development and Revision of Policies on the regular review cycle; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends adding language ensuring our policies are inclusive and serve the diverse needs of our community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Dakota County Board of Commissioners hereby adopts the revisions to Policy 1002 Development and Revision of Policies.
