Schedule a County Board work session on June 5, 2024, at 8:00 a.m., at the SMART Center, 9260 Courthouse Blvd., Inver Grove Heights, to provide a post-session legislative delegation update.
SUMMARY
The Minnesota Legislature convened its 2024 session on February 12, 2024 and is scheduled to adjourn on May 20, 2024. Staff are recommending the County Board scheduled a work session on June 5, 2024, at 8:00 a.m., to be held at the SMART Center. The purpose of the work session will be to discuss the outcomes of the 2024 State legislative session with Dakota County's State legislative delegation.

WHEREAS, the Minnesota Legislature convened its 2024 session on February 12, 2024, and is to adjourn on May 20, 2024; and
WHEREAS, the interests of Dakota County and its residents have been directly affected by the decisions of the 2024 Legislature.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Dakota County Board of Commissioners hereby schedules a County Board work session on June 5, 2024, at 8:00 a.m., at the SMART Center, 9260 Courthouse Blvd., Inver Grove Heights, to discuss the outcomes of the State legislative session.
