PURPOSE/ACTION REQUESTED
Amend the 2022 County Board/Committee of the Whole meeting schedule to reflect a change of location and meeting time for the General Government and Policy Committee of Whole for the meeting scheduled on August 9, 2022.
SUMMARY
The 2022 County Board/Committee of the Whole meeting schedule was adopted by Resolution No. 21-460 (September 21, 2021). By Resolution No. 22-053 (February 1, 2022), the Board amended the original schedule to accommodate for changes to a few 2022 meeting dates for the Committees of the Whole.
Currently, there are two meetings scheduled for August 9, 2022; County Board and General Government and Policy (GGP) Committee of the Whole. The County Board meeting is scheduled to be held at the Dakota County Fairgrounds. Staff are recommending that the County Board meeting be held at the Fairgrounds but the GGP Committee of the Whole be rescheduled from August 9, 2022 to August 16, 2022 at the Western Service Center, Conference Room L139, at 11:00 a.m. (or following the Physical Development Committee of the Whole).

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 21-460 was amended by Resolution No. 22-053 (February 1, 2022); and
WHEREAS, staff recommends rescheduling the August 9, 2022 General Government and Policy Committee of the Whole to August 16, 2022.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Dakota County Board of Commissioners hereby amends Resolution No. 21-460 (September 21, 2021), and approves the time and location change for the August 9, 2022 General Government and Policy Committee of the Whole; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the August 9, 2022 General Government and Policy Committee of the Whole is rescheduled to August 16, 2022 at the Western Service Center, Conference Room L139, at 11:00 a.m. (or following the Physical Development Committee of the Whole).
