PURPOSE/ACTION REQUESTED
Authorize the ratified amendment to the current contract with SHI International Corp. to include increased licensing costs for Adobe software products procured throughout the three-year licensing agreement.

SUMMARY
Dakota County staff use Adobe software products to create and edit digital content for daily county business. The current three-year agreement includes licensing for Adobe Acrobat Pro for managing digital documents, and Adobe Creative Cloud applications used for digital media creation such as video or image editing. The current agreement is for the period of April 12, 2023 to April 11, 2026 and includes a total contract amount of $294,673.31. During the current three-year licensing agreement, additional licenses were needed by county staff, increasing overall costs above the initial license agreement amount.

RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends that the Board ratify the amended contract with SHI International Corp. to include the additional Adobe license costs incurred between April 12, 2023 to April 11, 2026 in an amount not to exceed $50,000, for a new not to exceed contract amount of $344,673.31.
