PURPOSE/ACTION REQUESTED

Receive an update on the issues addressed by the Planning Commission.

 

SUMMARY

The Dakota County Planning Commission met on Thursday, December 15, 2022. The Planning Commission addressed the following issues:

 

Miesville Ravine Park Reserve Master Plan

The Planning Commission received an update on the first phase of public engagement. Planning Commissioners reviewed public comments and received a presentation on demographic, recreation, and visitation tends. Planning Commissioners discussed issues and opportunities to be used in the development of park concepts.

 

Land Conservation Program Update

Planning Commissioners received an update on recently completed and pending land protection proposals.
