WHEREAS, to advance a safe and efficient transportation system, Dakota County is proceeding County Project (CP) 42-161 in the City of Hastings and Nininger Township; and
WHEREAS, Dakota County has included CP 42-161 in its Transportation Capital Improvement Program to improve and maintain County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 42 in Hastings and Nininger Township; and
WHEREAS, CP 42-161 will perform a mill and overlay of pavement, multiple roadway modifications for improved traffic and pedestrian safety, trail construction and trail reconstruction including a portion of the Mississippi River Greenway from near Lock Boulevard in Nininger Township to Trunk Highway 61 in the City Hastings; and
WHEREAS, acquisition of easements within the following 23 private property parcels is necessary for CP 42-161 to proceed into construction:

A 2.00 foot wide temporary easement for highway purposes over part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 20 Township 115 North, Range 17 West, Dakota County, Minnesota, said temporary easement lies northerly and contiguous to the northerly right of way of C.S.A.H. No. 42 as mapped by Dakota County Road Right of Way Map No. 182, according to the recorded map thereof, said temporary easement is described as follows:
