The Dakota County Planning Commission met on Thursday, October 27, 2022. Planning Commission addressed the following issue:
Parks Ordinance Update
The Planning Commission reviewed the latest draft of the Parks Ordinance Update. Planning Commission members discussed individual sections of the ordinance, including new recreational uses and trends that may require some level of regulation. Planning Commission discussed changes to the ordinance that would accommodate new and existing uses while protecting natural resources and the safety and experiences of other park visitors.
