Receive an update on the Planning Commission.
SUMMARY
The Dakota County Planning Commission met on March 28, 2024. The Planning Commission addressed the following issue:
Dakota County Solid Waste Management Plan Update
The Planning Commission received a presentation on the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency’s Metropolitan Solid Waste Management Policy Plan. Planning Commissioners reviewed the State requirements and corresponding point system. The Planning Commission discussed options for meeting the requirements and provided feedback to staff (Attachment: Draft Minutes).
